First Android Mobile Face Tracking app in France by ATOL

Projects

December 16, 2013

Atol Les opticiens, the French optician retailer who is renowned for being at the cutting edge of technology, is the first to launch a try on glasses mobile application for an Android phone or tablet in France.

Atol was already the first company to integrate TryLive Eyewear, the next generation virtual try on solution, on their website in 2010 and on iOS in 2011.

Take your Android phone, download the app, select glasses and see them appear on your face Live, as you would in a mirror, thanks to the phone’s front camera. You can try on several pairs of varying sizes and colour. Once you have found the right pair of glasses for you, activate the geo-location to find the nearest Atol store.

Bruno Roblès and Justine Fraioli, two presenters of RFM, dedicated a radio broadcast to this new app last week. They used it live and were so enthusiastic that they posted photos on their blog. Read the article in French here.

Also available on the web and on iOS.
